A woman's lifetime chance of encountering breast cancer in her own body is 12-13%, and this is not the same for every woman.
Women with certain special conditions are more likely to get breast cancer.
These women:
1- Having a family history of breast cancer,
2- Carrying some special genetic (hereditary) diseases,
3- Some special pathological conditions (atypia, etc.) were detected in old breast biopsies.
4- Being treated for breast cancer,
5- These are women who have received radiotherapy (radiation therapy) to the chest area between the ages of 10-30 due to various diseases.
Breast cancer screenings of these women should be adjusted in more detail according to their personal and family history.
